ISTARSKI BORAC - Croatian Judo Champions

Our cadets have won the title of Croatian champions in the judo cadet league which was held in Split. Young judokas from JK ISTARSKI BORAC repeated the success of their senior colleagues who just recently won the Croatian senior championship title for the second year in a row.

In Split gathered seven top cadet Croatian teams, since the JK Pujanke canceled appearance at the last minute . Quarterfinal duel against Dalmacijacement, finished with a close 4-3 victory. Semifinals match with JK Solin finished with 6:1 victory.
Opponent in the finals was JK Dubrovnik, which has beaten Split's JK Student in the second semi-final with 4:3. Our fighters in the finals proved to be the best, determined and inspired, and they convincingly beat rivals from Dubrovnik with final score of 5:2.

This way the youngsters from ISTARSKI BORAC won the championship in their very first appearance in the cadet league. In the battle for third place Dalmacijacement celebrated 4:3 against JK Dubrovnik 1966
